I just love the energy that I feel when dealing with the big wigs Maurice Swain and Yvette Harris-Whisett over there at The Copley Road Community Center located at 775 Copley rd in the heart of BLAkron Ohio. Ever since we connected these two and their community center has been making moves and of course making a positive impact.
Over this past weekend, The Copley Road Community Center put on it's "community day". In short what they're calling a "community day" is simply another way of saying fun day. Every other Saturday from 12pm-5pm they host these events as a guaranteed safety zone so the children in the community can have a positive/safe place to play.
With the help of Jaz Hunt and his Family Bakers Fun Word everyone that showed up had a great time. The children enjoyed real-life superheroes and characters like The Black Panther. Big shout out to the great food and ice cold drinks that were on deck at a very affordable price. In closing keep in mind that it's only $1.00 donation per child to enjoy the festivities.
