Being able to talk with the people that are making a real difference in our community is liberating. Yvette Harris of The Copley Road Community Center is one of those people. As a businesswoman, she understands the meaning of hard work and dedication. One of the great things that (I find fascinating about her) is the fact that she doesn't have a college degree. She has obtained everything she has from hard work and intelligence.
This summer she has many things going on. From the summer youth program to feeding the community. Not to mention her 24 hours a day daycare services. To put it bluntly, Yvette is one of BLAkron Ohio's movers and shakers. If you're not familiar with what all she's doing for the African American community please check out the video posted above. Until the next time, have some fun and get something done.
